Snowdon/Shetland Verge Trim (Type 2)

Snowdon/Shetland Type II trim is designed to work specifically with the Snowdon or Shetland Clay.  It is particularly suitable for builds with no soffit detail to prevent the ingress of wind driven rain.  It also provides a tidy finish at the gable.

Slate Verge Trim (Type 1)

Our Dry Verge Slate Trim is supplied in 3m lengths and offers the user a complete wind and rain protection solution for their verge.  The verge trim gives a fully dry fixing option with no requirement for mortar bedding.

Slate Verge Trim (Type 2)

Similar to the 'Type 1' verge trim but with the addition of a leg this particular slate trim also provides a secure and maintenance free finish to the gable.

Linear Dry Verge System

Designed for use with slates and interlocking clay tiles. This system provides a secure mechanical fixing solution for many types of roof coverings and provides an aesthetically pleasing, maintenance free detail to gable ends. *LH or RH available

• The verge units can be easily fitted to the verge of the roof in succession, locking the tiles in place to prevent wind uplift problems
• Exceptionally secure

Fixing Clip

The Linear Dry Verge Fixing Clip can be used to provide additional fixing points along the verge when fixing the LH or RH Linear Verge Units. The Fixing Clip can be nailed to an additional batten strip fixed to the underside of the verge. The first Linear Verge Unit is then clipped securely over the Fixing Clip providing a strong fix to the eaves.

Verge Union

The uPVC Verge Union can be used to cover a joint where two LH or RH Linear Verge Units abut each other. For roofs where the bottom course tiles are tilted upwards, cover the nail head and joint using a verge union. Hooke the verge union around the top flange between the linear verge unit and the tiles, then firmly push the verge union onto the joint until the clip engages with both linear verge units.

Eave End Closure

The uPVC Linear Dry Verge Eaves End are designed to neatly finish and close the bottom section of Linear Dry Verge down at eaves level. In some instances, it may be necessary to extend the bottom Linear Dry Verge unit passed the gutter and fit the Eaves End so that it doesn't foul on the guttering (see illustrations in the Product Info sheet). The Eaves End is will slide into the end of the bottom Linear Dry Verge unit and should be secured in place using a suitable adhesive.
