Dry Verge System

The Smart Verge System is an extremely cost-effective alternative that avoids all of the long-term maintenance problems and costs associated with mortar bedding.

The product has a unique push-on clip design, so that protecting the verge of a roof has never been faster or easier. The smart verge system has been independently wind tunnel tested by the BRE and is able to secure tiles to the roof and prevent wind uplift problems in the very worst of climatic conditions, while maintaining exceptional resistance to water penetration. No special tools or skills are required to fit the Smart Verge System and fitting can take place in all weather conditions.

The product has three components:

• Eaves Closer units - these are fitted at the bottom of the rafter close to the gutter to prevent access by birds and insects into the roof space.

• Verge Units - easily fitted to each tile in succession, these lock the tiles in place, preventing wind uplift problems. The system is mortar-free and can be fixed in all weather conditions. Once fitted they are completely weatherproof and maintenance free.

• Ridge End Caps - these complete the Smart Verge System by providing a neat and attractive finish for most makes of Round and Angled Concrete Ridge Tiles. The Ridge End Caps provide durable protection at each end of the ridge, eliminating problems caused by water penetration and wind uplift whilst preventing the entry of birds and large insects into the roof cavity.
