The Brazilian slate industry has made a major impact on the roofing market over the last 10 years. The slates are mined from the Minas Gerais region, an area rich in geology located between Brasilia and Rio de Janeiro.
LBS offer only the finest quality natural roofing slate from Brazil in a variety of colours: gray/green and graphite. These slates are unusually strong and durable and do not contain damaging iron or quartz content. They should be treated with care when fixing and we recommend cutting with a disc machine, and hook rather than nail fixing.
