Forna natural roofing slates are extracted from high purity slate deposits, and are among the best quality slates to be found anywhere in the world. As such, Forna is one of the few slates which adheres not only to BS EN 12326: Part 1: 2004, but also to the much stricter French and Belgian standards. Forna slates have a dark grey / blue appearance and are very similar in appearance to Welsh Blue Grey. They are available in standard sizes of 500×250mm, 400×250mm and 400×200mm, and are available in either ultra, premier or standard grade.

Forna slates fully conform to BS EN 12326: Part 1: 2004 and are covered by a 50 year quarry backed guarantee.
