Vermont Green slate offers an attractive light green appearance with a white or pale green veining. It is dense and finely grained, and has a nominal thickness of 5-6mm. This slate has an excellent reputation among both architects and contractors, and has been used on some of Ireland's most historic buildings.

Vermont Green slates are available in a full range of random widths and lengths. Alternatively they can be supplied in any length with random widths or in a sized slate.

They are available in 2 grades: Autumn Green (semi weathering) and Vermont Green (non fading) and conform to BS EN 12326: Part 1: 2004.

Vermont Green slates are generally expected to outlive the life of a building (when fixed in accordance with BS 5534 and BS 8000), and are covered by a 100 year quarry backed guarantee.
