Limestone

Jerusalem Stone is a contemporary material used for interior walls and floors, and can also be used as a very hard wearing flooring in kitchens and conservatories. The tiles come from hard Limestone and dolomite strata with colours ranging from white to cream, and from red to pink. Textures vary from fine smooth types, to coarse open ones. Jerusalem marble is available in polished, honed and various types of antique / tumbled finishes.

This material is common around Jerusalem and has been used since ancient times. Many of the region's most celebrated structures, including the Western Wall, have been built with this material.
