Landscaping Boulders

Another popular application of Welsh slate is the use of specially selected feature boulders and rocks in the quarry which are used for landscaping and gardening applications. There are generally 2 types of these rocks:

1. Slate Rocks
   Slate stones are available from 0.5 metres to 5 metres in length and from 0.5 tonnes to 7 tonnes in weight.
2. Glacial Boulders
   Typically 1-2 metres high and between 2-6 tonnes in weight
