British Library, London

Although it may not be a historic building in the traditional sense the British Library is nonetheless a national treasure housing many important and historic documents. The roof of the building was slated with Bangor Blue slates 20″x12″ Penrhyn Capital grade between 1994-1996, before metric sizes were produced. The architect was Colin St John Wilson, and the building was opened by the Queen in 1998.
